I run out of bottle long before I end up flat out in mine but have seen well into the three figures.

 

Rick something sounds wrong for it to be showing 2000rpm at 80. 80 with my 5 speed and 3.54 diff is still around 3200rpm. What size tyres have you got?

just done a gear calc and should do 90 mph at 2000rpm with the six speed

I wouldnt know its still sitting in the garage waiting for the lump to go back in but its a 105e with a 240ish bhp xe on 48s with a tranx type9 and a 4.1 slipper on 10x13 minilites probably wont be mad top end but should get there fooking quick..hopefully

Mine probably tops out at around 105-110mph as i have a low ratio 4spd fitted ,speedo only goes to 100 mph but its really screaming by then.

used to see 130 on the clock on my 3.0s quite regular, but expect thats closer to 120 odd in real figures. had touching 115 in the coupe a couple of times

my mk5 cortina will do 103 on sat nav...down hill

 

that means you were goin faster as a sat nav reads on a linear scale which dont say ur true speed up and down a hill it will always show as less as the traveled distance in a given time will be greater than the gps thinks

 

recon mine does about 5mph with 3 wheels and no engine bein pushed

Weere you going down a massive steep hill? Most modern 5 speeds wont do 80 at 2000 revs.
