2x toast for brakfast, 1x 6" subway at lunch & a proper evening meal! no snacks.... Probably not too healthy given the salt etc in subways but oh well I've lost weight & trimmed right up with the help of a few press ups & dips as well :roll:

in eighteen days ive lost two stone and yeah i would probably put it all back on again if i went back to exactly ho wi was but i wont the trouble is you cant just diet and loose weight and expect ot keep it off when you stop the diet you need to think of it as a lifestyle change

i want to join the navy to be a chef and i need to get down to 16.5 stone when i found this out i was 21.5 and im now 19.5 ive done this by not eating bread pasta or potatoes and obviously other thing slike pizza chocolates etc etc so its alot of rice and peas really along with lean meat like chicken and aswell as the diet change ive been running most evenings and some morenings aswell on top of going to the gym mondays wednesdays fridays and sundays and rugby training on tuesdays and thursdays and matches on saturdays

obviously the night before a match ill carb load so i dont run out of energy on the pitch but that sjust like having a big pasta dish

Way to go Messanjah, will we all get an invite to your passing out parade from HMS Raleigh? Ouch, mine was 21 years ago last month :(

I've been going to Slimming World for just over 2 years . i was just shy of 21st and got down to 16st 4 lb within a year . Also started doing cage/street fighting classes with my brother in law which i'd thought i'd hate but really enjoyed ( always been a lover not a fighter ! ) I think going each week to get weighed keeps up the motovation although i've put a little bit back on since last xmas but i've lost 7lb in the last fortnight being strict with myself again

so tempting to say things like "rip out the back seats" and "try fiberglass pannels"

but in all seriousness best thing to do is just alter diet very slightly, cut out snacking, fast foods and microwaved foods (dont know how much of that you eat or dont eat) and just do a little regular exercise, build it into your routine so it becomes 2nd nature to do it and just stick with it and you will gradually lose weight and if you stick with it keep it off too

Bet he is never further than 100mtr from the nearest bog, Evil things, slightest too much fat in your diet and you lose control of your bowels, , not from personal experiance, but I have 2 mates on Statins, one has just come off them as he got fed up with pooing his pants, got to the point where he had a spare pair of pants in his car, in his pocket and in his locker, I think he is happier being 28 stone and 5.6"

I posted a similar post earlier in the year, i weighed 20 stone 4lb then.

Im now 17 stone 10 and its still coming off.

Trick is to do it slowly, the slower it comes off the more likely it will stay off.

Special K and skimmed milk for breakfast, then i work 12 hour dayshifts, and i take about 10 pieces of fruit to work, and either a jacket spud with cottage cheese (with pineapple is nice) or a tin of soup.(Activia yoghurts are delicious and a healthy snack)

then at tea make a chicken curry with boiled rice or pasta with a sauce etc.

Its loads of carbs but very little fat, more likely to keep off the weight and most importantly im NEVER hungry!!

sex is the best form of diet burns god knows how many callories also you could tried swimming as an exercise as you use every muscle in the body and its simular to hydro exercise but cheaper

You could go into hospital for 2 weeks and have ur back straightened-I lost a stone :mrgreen:

Seriously though, it's just about getting more exercise and watching what you eat.

Sugar is something that you should be looking out for in things.

Exercise wise-swimming is great. I can't wait to get back swimming but that will be another 3months at least

Try and involve the kids as much as possible, like taking them to the park etc.

Exercise doen't have to be taxing, you can make it fun 8)

Cut out fat juice, drink diet instead.

I put on shitloads of weight drinking fat coke & things due to not burning the sugar, switched to drinking diluting juice & diet sugar free fizzy drinks & am losing the weight again.

Exercise

Eat plenty of fruit (Try to avoid Bananas though as they have a high level of natural sugar)
