Col-ashtonmobile Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 well done , looks top job
Retro-gone. Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 only thing that lets it down for me is the carb, its cleaned up better than it wa but still looks tatty (thats why i left it out of shot lol) but i didnt realise how cheap they are to buy brand new, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WEBER-32-36-DGV-5 ... m153.l1262 i know some of you are gonna say ;bike carbs and tein 40's etc, maybe i will, sometime in the future, but not for a while..
Copey Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 i know you said maybe in the future, but if you just stick with what you have, bike carbs wont set you back that much more than that carb will, £100 for R1 cards and i remember a topic on here about a guy being able to build manifolds for £60 just food for thought!
Retro-gone. Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 just one thing tom mate , il never fit bike carbs to my car, nothing against them but i prefer oldskool carbs. just pm'd you by the way
Copey Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 thats fair enough then, down to personal choice mate could always go DGAS if you want a little bit more power at some point, i have replied to your PM
bortaf Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 How fooking nice is that ! I like the holes in the cam belt cover not seen that before the rocker cover look well nice livin the silver stripes and the ford badge
Retro-gone. Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 ta mate, i wanted to do somethin different hence the cambelt cover holes, i was gonna put an led light behind the belt cover so it shines thro the holes, then i realised no-one would see it doh
