just for abit of fun, what does everyone think is the best engine ford have ever made? it can be anything from a pre-crossflow to a zetec but no cossys or lotus's only ford produced engines

 

I think nearly everybody has failed to note, FORD PRODUCED ENGINES< NO LOTUS OR COSSIES

X flow is a top engine revs easy and punts you out of a corner nicely :D Just a pity they didnt make one that was a 2.0 i'd be ever so happy then :ykt:

 

Like the Pinto and Cossie too ( Turbo or N/a ) and do love a Bd engine :mrgreen::mrgreen:

im a pinto man myself but even tho the CVH was in plastics it is a very good engine can get alot more out a cvh than a xflow

 

YFKT... and 10 mins to change a cam in situ.. used to have solid lifters in mine and 130 brake, brill engine.

im stuck between x'flow and pinto :?

 

 

the CVH has to be the wrost ford engine if not the worst engine in egsistance IMO then again mines a 1.4 EFi and has a mind of its own
