I went to the Pod today  .......... and on my 4th run i broke my gearbox  , The day xtarted well with an 11.6 on road tyres, For the 2nd run i put the slicks on, Again a good run, 11.5 still with some wheelspin and a bit of axle tramp, 3rd run engine cut out in 2nd gear on full boost, but cameback in timewith a 1/4 time of 11.9.

Then the 4th run, Launched goodthen tried to go from 2nd to 5th @ 7000 rpm  and bang :sad::sad: No 5th, car does still drive but sounds like a bag of spanners :lol: So with just 2 weeks to go to the final round of the OSFDC, i need to either get anouther box, or get it out and get it rebuilt  , Bloody cars :lol::lol:

Sorry to hear that Ian, the guy who done my gearbox is very good, but a bit far from you, he is next door to Graham Hathaway racing, his name is Phil peacock 07889 196028. If you ring him, tell him Joe stevens gave you the number

I may need to ring him again soon, mines starting to crunch again after the Skyline race the other night
