DEP Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 I went to the Pod today .......... and on my 4th run i broke my gearbox , The day xtarted well with an 11.6 on road tyres, For the 2nd run i put the slicks on, Again a good run, 11.5 still with some wheelspin and a bit of axle tramp, 3rd run engine cut out in 2nd gear on full boost, but cameback in timewith a 1/4 time of 11.9. Then the 4th run, Launched goodthen tried to go from 2nd to 5th @ 7000 rpm and bang No 5th, car does still drive but sounds like a bag of spanners So with just 2 weeks to go to the final round of the OSFDC, i need to either get anouther box, or get it out and get it rebuilt , Bloody cars
