2.8i TIC Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Well, now the Capri is soon at the paint shop, but i haven't decided on what color to paint it in.. I'm totally clueless... The car is a 74mod with MK3 front end, mk2 lights, wide wheels, really lowered... Please put up you suggestion and a pict of the color/car..
DEP Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Black always looks good on capri sbut depends how straight your bodywork is, as black can show all the imperfections etc, failing that yellow, or royal blue
flyingbanana Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 what about candy apple ..not a capri but you can see the color
BIG G Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Pink with a purple bonnett as i bet it would be the only one
Messenjah Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 well theres a pink capri with a purple butterfly airbrushed on the bonnet doing the rounds mate so it wouldnt really be the only one lol
BIG G Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 yeah nice one surely your joking plese tell me you are
Messenjah Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 yeah nice one surely your joking plese tell me you are deadly serious lol .... but in response to the original post SATIN BLACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SAF_Capri Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 mines mineral blue, looks great in my opinion, certainly in the sun, has a purplish flick to it,
2.8i TIC Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Posted November 8, 2008 I will defo not have it satin black.. could you maybe post up picts of the different colors? SAF_capri, got any picts of the side? looked nice..

jamesg Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 i had the same prob earlier this year when i got my MK3 painted... i looked at loads of american muscle car pics and mopar sites for ideas. My colour is a 2007 VW colour so i know its prob the only capri in this colour. if the colour you pick is different it will look cool
ASBO CAPRI Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 This is black with a purple metalic pearl flip
Beakster Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Keep it simple. Ford Diamond White with Blue Cobra Stripes
bazbiker Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Get yourself Photoshop, its helping me no end with deciding what colour to paint my mk3 Cortina
2.8i TIC Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 I have already had a white capri with blue stripes.. Im now waiting on a photoshop mod, with the colors from the yellow mustang posted earlier.. Hope it will turn out the way I want it..
richie_stix Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 that candy apple colour is beautiful! not sure it would suit a mk3 though... too many angular lines? a mk1 on the other hand.... mmmmmmmmm
Stu_B Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Theres a rover colour I really like, I keep seeing a 400 driving around in it. Kind of a mettalicy green/brown
pauline Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 what about candy apple ..not a capri but you can see the color I like that color love the car more
bazbiker Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Well I tried to Photoshop a Capri with candy apple red for you but it just keeps ending up a horrid pink/red type colour More practice needed I think and probably some advice on how to use it properly
2.8i TIC Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 OK, could you maybe try to photoshop a slammed capri with the color scheme from the mustang instead?
tommy2ltr Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 my mk3 was candy red i thought she was beautiful
