should i have a rear spolier?

 

i need to decide soon, as one my eninge is done its getting painted,

 

without,

 

or with

 

 

im swaying towards no spoilers but i was some sport decals on the sides and i think they will look out of places without a spoiler,

 

i think i could just get a standard boot and rs2000 boot painted so i could always swap between them.

looks so much better with a spoiler to me

 

 

just looses a little bit of its sporty image when you chuck the spoiler. also i think the cars lines just flow better with the spoiler on.....

this is a tough one, i have a front spoiler too, and if it was fitted it would mean the front panel wouldn't need to be filled and straightened out as its a bit dents, which would save some money,

 

the rear one looks good, but its not an rs or sport it just a base model, and i keep thinkning i should keep it looking more of a base model and not making it something it never was.

I always think mk2's need spoilers, but somehow yours looks better without. Maybe it's the chrome bumpers, I dunno. But my vote is 'without'

It is always nice to get other views from fellow enthusiasts. However, at the end of the day it is your car and you need to satisfy yourself what looks the best. Personally, I like both.

Unfortunately mate when you post this kind of thread you always seem to end up with a 50/50 reaction. Like most have said it's your motor do as you please But seeing as you are asking I think your motor looks better without. Like someone else a bit further back said you have a nice clean standard looking car so without goes with that look.
