Copey Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 very daring and almost pulls it off, it would have just looked better with either no bumpers or black bumpers imo
caprinerd Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 i like that just not sure on that bonnet
BIGKEV Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Nice Yellow not my bag - in Kevs world all cars would be midnight blue Did you show him photos of yours on your phone?
Guest chriscapriman Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 what a beast, defo get some pics of your yellow mk1 and that mk3 next to each other not sure on those back lights, but looks liuke a weapon
4parajon Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Each to there own I say, and good on him for doing something very individual. Workmanship looks excellent
Mick The Cabbie Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I keep looking at this. I'm not sure really why I like it coz I'm not usually a fan of cars that have loads o' stuff nailed to em. Being yellow probably helps. It's very yellow. I love old cars in yellow!! I love the front end with the smooth Tickford stylee grille and the yellow bumper. I agree on losing the rear lights though. Wonder how it sits when it's on the deck..
bigglesmk2 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I think it's the tit's He's took an already cool car and put his personal touch and done a bloody good job,so what if it's too yellow or got shite rear light's it's his car and it's better then anything i could buy or build
escortmad79 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Not sure on the bonnet... or the rear lights... or the cutout front bumper Aside from that it's ok
richie_stix Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 ding ding! lovin that.... bet you like the yellow rocker cover mr retro! not sure on the rear lights, but he has made an rs3100 suit a mk3, seen em done before, but that looks so right! good find
Boreham Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Not sure on the bonnet... or the rear lights... or the cutout front bumper Aside from that it's ok agree with that comment.. like the xpack kit..and wheels combo.. apart for the tailer light's on the rear....
