Was sent on a road trip today to do some emergency glazing, i was in unknown territory and pulled up at side of road to crank up the satnav, this bloke walks out of a house and opens his garage door to reveal this georgous cosworth X pk mk3 capri.. of course i had to chat with him, hes been building the car 5 years (whilst running a stock 2.8 as his daily)

anyway, nice bloke, let me take these pics to show you lot, i told him bout osf but i got the impression hes not a computer man..

ive arranged to take my mk1 thro when i get it finished..

It's not every day i say that about a Capri. But when done right, they're up there with Escorts in my book!! :thumbsup:

..and I do think Mk1's look particularly fetching in yellow (Capri's that is)(and Escorts too)

what a beast, defo get some pics of your yellow mk1 and that mk3 next to each other :thumbsup: not sure on those back lights, but looks liuke a weapon :twisted::twisted:

I keep looking at this. I'm not sure really why I like it coz I'm not usually a fan of cars that have loads o' stuff nailed to em. Being yellow probably helps. It's very yellow. I love old cars in yellow!! I love the front end with the smooth Tickford stylee grille and the yellow bumper. I agree on losing the rear lights though. Wonder how it sits when it's on the deck..

I think it's the tit's :ykt:

 

He's took an already cool car and put his personal touch and done a bloody good job,so what if it's too yellow or got shite rear light's it's his car and it's better then anything i could buy or build :ykt:

not sure on the rear lights, but he has made an rs3100 suit a mk3, seen em done before, but that looks so right!
