Just venting, had a crap day today and last night was the start of it.

I was driving home last night and almost got plowed into by a police officer driving without his warning lights, and to top it off, had I not moved out of the way he would have seriously impacted my car.

The bastard then told me my license plate lights were out, and that was why he pulled me over, at gunpoint.

So yeah, when was the last time you guys got a .40 stuck in your face? Am I wrong to think this is excessive force?

Then I got into work, and my co-worker showed me:

(A bit graphic, warning / heads up.)

I really wish we had better ways to punish bad cops here. :(

I have respect for the police but not for one that thinks he is the Lone ranger... The words "your not intimidating me" really wind a policeman up you know lol.

He had the cheek to plead not guilty to an assault charge too WTF

Just a bully who thinks it makes him hard and tough to beat children up.

And sixtyeightmk2, in answer to you question - never ;) and I agree, it does seem a bit OTT fo having a light out

Hmmm, interesting video. Totally wrong to lose it like that and you can pretty much guarantee that, that is his job gone down the swanee.

However raises a few good points, maybe if kids were brought up to have a bit more respect for the law, each other, there elders then she wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place.

Many times I have wanted to get hold of some gobby little shite and give him a good hiding, but there is no way I am gonna give some little shit the satisfaction of knowing that I have lost my job, pension and house coz he has got to me. There are way too many knobs out there trying to stiff the Police already let alone the kids.

I can see from the replies that most people think the UK Police are just a bunch of bullies with badges anyway, Oh well another 20 years to go and then I can retire and forget about everyone thinking im a mary.

i think british cops should be like americans in some cases.

why chase someone down the motorway at 120mph for an hour....RAM HIM!

Someone on the run after robbing a shop..dont chase him down on foot and slap him around after looking in bushes for 4 hours....SHOOT THE BUGGER!

Err we do ram them, I have a personal collection of 'stops'

Shoot him and then spend the next twenty years arguing the technical reasons why you did it, have every civil liberty group shouting how wrong it was, then the family want compo.....

sorry to deviate abit from the subject but its the screws in this country that have a prob with people it took 6 of them to put a 9 stone guy in to the block and broke his ankle at the same time by twisting the guys foot round the guy complianed as h was a vegie and he was being forced to took meat on his plate ive seen it happen time and again through the years when i was a bad lad but nothing ever gets done about this kind of thugery but the police ar in the public eye so its wrong for them to do it but its ok for the screws to knock ten bars out of people because its not seen by the public

I know you're not a turd mate :ykt: At the end of the day, police fall in the same category as tax inspectors and traffic wardens and will never be liked by everyone. Anyone who has a position of authority will be disliked because people don't like being told what to do or what not to do :?

And ... at least over here in the majority of cases the police will not be there to threaten people with a gun (except the silver BMW's in London) .... Thank GOD we are not in America where nearly everyone owns a gun

Sorry but the way i look at it is don't get nicked then you wont get stuck in prison then you want get beaten up  pretty simple to me ?

No sympathy for whingers cos they caught speeding no sympathy for peepes who put themselves in prison.

Of course wether you choose to read don't get caught or dont break the law is totaly up to the reader

We need Judge Dredd on the case

I lol'd at the photo!

Yeah my Dad is a California Highway Patrol Officer... I guess I'm just really mad because I know the cop went a little over board and did a lot of things wrong when he pulled me over.

Did I mention he was about 20 years old?
