Pipster007 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I;ll take the shit if you can take the pain big boy I knew Big G was actually short for Big GAY
stevepeanut Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 to be honest when I joined osf I thought it was a bit clicky, but I felt more welcome once I had put up some more posts. If you reply regularly to posts, particularly in chit chit, people will recognise your screen name. Then you'll build up banter with people. And like others have said, get to your local meet, to put a few names to faces. I read as many posts as possible on here, and reply if I have an opinion or something usefull to ad. Everyone on here is sound, and willing to give advice, and plenty would be willing to help out with work on your car too. Get lots of posts up and you'll feel right at home.
accord83 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Hell, they even allow me on here and I own a Honda
jimbo Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 i live just out side oxford There's your problem mate. Oxford's too posh for OSF. You should get an MG or a Triumph Seriously, though......For some reason the Chilterns and Cotswolds seems a bit light on the OSF scene. Unless other local folks want to prove me wrong. I'm in Tring by the way..... PS.....Love your car
BIG G Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I;ll take the shit if you can take the pain big boy I knew Big G was actually short for Big GAY if i was gay pip ugly fookers like you would turn me straight again

Guest chriscapriman Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 this site is no clickier than any other imo ive found in two years of various old ford sites and clubs, that you make better online friends once you can put a face, personality, sense of humour etc to a username get along to some local meets and introduce yourself as 'the gay boy who doesnt think people are talking to him on OSF' should go down a storm and realley break the ice meeting folk face to face is sometimes a bit nerve raking for the first time, but get thro that and you should make some real good mates, i know i have on the flip side tho, we've had folk turn up at the manchester and liverpool meets and not get out the car, then complain online that no-one spoke to them
barney9969 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 i am new to this site but never seen a nasty comment about anyone....each person who posts on here has there own views on every subject posted !!! thats why we post stuff to get other peoples opinions and help...... and the banter between some of the older/regular members are very funny.....
Sir-Cato Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 i live just out side oxford Good to see a few more people from in/around oxford With regards to the site being clicky, Its the same with every forum. You are a new person to the site and more often than not, not very knowledgeable about the subjects in hand. Sure the older members(as in time been here) are happy to answer a "newbies" questions but when multiple people ask the same question over and over again it gets a bit tedious. As a few other members have said, being friends with other members will help alot. Just be grateful the regular members don't look down at you because you`re new etc.
Posse Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 All i can say is stand up and be counted we don't bite .

Posse Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 All i can say is stand up and be counted we don't bite . i think some people on here do bite Darren Really well I'm heavily involved in a naughty site and they all ignore me but I'm just on there for the pics and vids
Trevmk3 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 All i can say is stand up and be counted we don't bite . i remember the first time i met aload of people off here, it was at the 07 xmas bash, i knew absoulutely nobody but now i would like to think ive made some good friends from it (even if they are southern ) and have stayed at some of their houses when ive been too meets and shows that are over 150 miles away from my house the posts not being replied to is sometimes down to probably only a select few people actually knowing it but some people dont get time to come on here so they may go unanswered. all i can say mate is, if you are at one of the shows or meets just aim for the OSF flag and if you see crazy eyes youve found Darren (Posse) Darren aint as scary as his eyes make him look
bigdaz27 Posted March 4, 2009 Author Report Posted March 4, 2009 i dont no about scary but it dose look like he has to much skin on his face

davreeve Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 It takes a while to get used to people and as said meeting people face to face at shows ,drag meets etc helps no end. When i first came on here not many people spoke to me...come to think of it they still dont only joking
