i can remember seeing the pics before but can't remember who's car it was

i remember just pulling away in the van from the hard shoulder on the M1, looking in the mirror and seeing the car in flames, and as i ran down the hard shoulder he was beating the flames with a pillow good job i carried a fire extinguisher

As steve said just to show how tough old fords can be i give her a good thrashing up the strip at santa pod only a few hours after that and then drove it all the way back to kent

Tis true, had a Mk1 transit (me first van) nearly went up from spitting back, put it out and replaced a few wires, later that day she passed her MOT. Nearly lost a Mk2 that way once, again put her out in time, a couple of months later she was on Top Gear!
