Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 2, 2009 Admin Report Posted April 2, 2009 So .... who still sups "old skool" drinks? When I first started (legally) pubbing, my drink of choice was pernod & black ... then I moved to vodka & orange and the lads used to drink snakebite and black. I'm not sure if the young 'uns drink these sort of drinks anymore since the advent of alcopops ... so ... what is your drink of choice and who still favours old skool tipple?

Fishtailparka Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Old School is way back when I could actually afford to do it. Whiskey and lemonade was 50p a go. There was uproar when it went up to 50p for the whiskey and they started charging for the lemonade.
Mr.Sumo Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Litre bottles of Strongbow when i was a nipper ....then went on to Fosters or Carling ( piss water really ) , then discovered Vodka and coke , then started drinking John Smiths or Boddingtons ( mmmm...) , now back on the apples..... .....seem to have done full circle
