X-pack-Glyn Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Are they available yet? if so where?
Fishtailparka Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Not available yet. Rumours say strong chance they will be here in December, but still only rumours really.
4parajon Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Heard that one of the mag editors is having the first pair trial fitted to an escort for him to report back on.
livewire7116 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Group4 fabrications are supposed to selling these soon in std and rs form
bronze4door Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 someone will make a fortune making new ones
l j shaw Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Yet again Escort wings turn up.............A trial set turned up and where absolutly terrible, to the point they where scrap, not good, and some one lost a lot of money doing it, but think they are going to retry again.....that was the last i heard.
oldskooler Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 apparently they have now got it down to some creasing issues around some of the corners etc. the presses are getting altered slightly to try and solve this.
joe1600 Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 wish these had been available when i was doing my car. would have saved alot of time and money
Boreham Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 wish these had been available when i was doing my car. would have saved alot of time and money I think you'd be shocked at the price of these new ones.... it's like this...new tooling is huge money... they've been watchin the market value.... and will price accordingly
Admin Vista Posted October 15, 2009 Admin Report Posted October 15, 2009 they've been watchin the market value.... and will price accordingly The current market value is based on there being very limited numbers available. If good repro's are readily available I'd expect them to be sensibly priced.

If good repro's are readily available I'd expect them to be sensibly priced. Maybe after a year or two of clearing the backlog, but I think at first they'll be at least £300 per side, at least The problem is there will be a flood onto the market, some will be used certainly, but some will end up on ebay for eyewatering amounts keeping the prices afloat... Which ever way you look at it, and as long as its taken, it can only be a good thing for our hobby. Its just a matter of time now before someone knocks together some heritage shells...

I'd be thinkin 3 times that...
Admin Vista Posted October 15, 2009 Admin Report Posted October 15, 2009 Not sure what you mean by stg, but I'd call £180 or so reasonable when compared to £1000 per pair for NOS mex wings.
l j shaw Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I think they have already done them ......... got a aircraft hanger in Bankok, full of these RS wings and they keep popping with they will be done soon so to tease and increase the price Ive watched chop shop im sure they can wack em out with a flip-flop and pliers for less than 50 peeeeeeeeee
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 15, 2009 Admin Report Posted October 15, 2009 Not sure what you mean by stg, . stg = Sterling as in £ stg (sterling) Boreham is from Euro land
