As some of you may have read, I fitted my new electronic ignition kit the other day and very good it was too.

It started raining and didn't get a chance to time it up, so thought I go outside and do it today.

I was greeted with this as I go to stick the key in the door;

Some thieving fcuking scumbag tried to have may car away :twisted::twisted::twisted:

They didn't get in so I'm guessing they aren't 'car thief of the year', more like some pikey twat.

Only last year some arse tried for the second time to have the XR2 away as some of you may remember, and it wasn't many months ago my neighbours Mk2 XR2 was stolen. I wouldn't mind but I live in a small village miles from any where, isn't any where safe ?

Unfortunatly the car has to live outside on the road which obviously isn't a safe place for any oldskool ford so I'm thinking the car has got to go to a new home now as I can't put up with this no longer. 3 times now, whens it gonna end ? its not is it :roll: .

It wouldn't be so bad if I could catch them as I would seroiusly hurt the little fcukers, it would certainly make me feel better.

Oh, and happy new year :roll:

Mate get a tracker put on it! May seem expensive but its worth it in the long run. Track-U do one that activates when car is moved or entered and alerts old bill instantly. I've fitted a couple now and they're good stuff! That or buy a gun and hide in the bushes till they do it again and shove the barrel right up his pikey thievin ......! :twisted:

Don't risk it. Nothing is safe. I rent a garage which is about 5 miles from my house but I still would never leave my car parked outside overnight.

Sorry to hear that Steve :(

Get an alarm on it, but don't sell it mate. Why let the little shizters win????

If they saw a little flashing red LED in the car, they would be less inclined to risk it. I have 2 immobilizers and 1 alarm on the Capri and that lives out on the road 365 days of the year. The Anglia has an alarm, but that lives behind my house under CCTV (Me with an air gun) :lol::lol::lol::roll:

Seriously though, DON'T SELL IT :wink:
