So, the new season will soon be upon us (have you noticed the nights are drawing out Hoorrahh!!). OSF as a club attend lots of shows both big and small throughout the year and we do try to attend a few new smaller shows each year ... so .... my question is:

What show(s) are you most looking forward to this year and do you have any suggestions (with links) on some of the smaller shows that you think we should maybe have a club stand on this year :thumbsup:

Powderham Castle Show (Sat 09.07 - Sun 10.07.2011) biggest and best in the West Country

I do plenty of other local ones too (Duchy capri club was a nice day out last year) but Powderham is the must have for me.

Duchy CC show June 24th - 26th

For locals, Morval vintage and Steam rally is worth a look over the August bank holiday weekend. It's a quirky kind of show and is done in a particularly west country way

Classic Ford Show

Wheels Day (if the suns out this year)

Hot Rod Drags

And a local one to me is the Coventry & Warwickshire Annual bash, in a small canal side pub, with a huge field out back, perfect setting, lots of varieties of cars  Last year saw me, Barney9699 and Flordescort show up there, i know theres more local people so i can PM a few nearer the time to get interest up. I dont mind setting up a little stand as i know most of you arent close  Dont think you can book a place its just turn up and park, so just find a place next to each other

And also monthly meet at Stoney Cove, Warwickshire. Set in a old quarry that is now used for Diving lessons, and has a fairly big car park, its on every 2nd tuesday and 3 thursday.......really hard to keep track of when its on, but worth it  Place does amazing food aswell

Thats the link for the stoney cove thing, as its not a very big show its just usually put on there as a advert, so i'll post it up in the meets board everytime this meets on, well in advance

Does this show OSF's? I'm guessing it's similar to the shows that used to be at Thorny island and we would fit into the custom/classic bracket...

it is the same group of peeps that do the shows malc

and yeah we fall into the classic/custom bracket rather than the rod side of it
