groomers Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 yup deffo how you supposed to make an offer if they dont say what they want for it!
over_head_cam Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 And if they are not sure how much it's worth?
xpackken Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 And why would you make an offer if you didnt know what the bloody thing looks like ie its condition etc...... _________________ recession history us
BaileyMex Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Mmmm no comment, it bugs me when people dont put a price,
jayson2.3pinto Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 what about if they havent a camera
Tom Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 how about, replying, pm'ing or phoning them to find out more info about the part that is for sale? Cos if you really want it you'll make the effort
Admin Vista Posted January 21, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 21, 2007 The only thing that puts me off is the "offers" type statement, I don't like being made to feel I'm bidding against other members of the site. There's a place for that already, eBay.
Posse Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 I don't think its to hard to say how much you want
fezza Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 The only thing that puts me off is the "offers" type statement, I don't like being made to feel I'm bidding against other members of the site. There's a place for that already, eBay. Yep very true and also people put links to their cars that are on ebay, surley then that means the car is not for sale but for auction, unless they offer the car for sale ut of eBay which they often dont, there is a section on the site for this(no offence to anyonr whos done this just a personal opinion)
Fiesta Steve Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 So what about this car; http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=34258 He wants to swap or part ex, so no price
groomers Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 to p/ex he must have a value in his head for his car!
HAZZAR Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 no price no advert thats how it should be
Alan G Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Quite alot of forums are doing this now... if there's not a price advertised then the thread is deleted! It really bugs me when people ask for offers, especially when they know exactly what they expect to get for it!
over_head_cam Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Whatever happened to leeway? it can be annoying when there's no price, but there's more to life. Let it go and you'll all have happier lives
huxmk1estate Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 how about, replying, pm'ing or phoning them to find out more info about the part that is for sale? Cos if you really want it you'll make the effort well said^^^^ that man
slimrs Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 i think having prices and pics would help the sellers get alot more interest in what they are selling. however some people either generally dont know what the car is worth or with the way prices are increasing for the osf's they think that there price may be a little too high maybe. theres still alot of osfs on ebay so you should be able to get a rough price to see what its worth though.
Guest pooface Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 and even Worse!! http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=34242
over_head_cam Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 BUT Why should peeps have to do what everyone else tell them? If you don't like them, or how they sell their items, then don't buy. Simple
