Im fitting the kit & painting it in work so thats a small fourtune saved . SO paint & materials 500 i reckon it will owe me 1800 max _________________ recession definition

emu Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Me and dad worked this out a while back. Im fairly sure that the escort has cost about 800 so far. Dads capri was a lot less, that is around 500. Both include buying the cars in the first place.
Messenjah Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 £693.52 on the road not including the tax and mot or insurance the car itself £250 £95getting it recovered home £15 for the wheel cylinder £10 worth of brake fluid £60 for points plugs leads condensor sizzy cap and rotor arm £90 on two rear tyres as the others werent round £100 in the garage to strip down the top end and find something was loose and do it back up lol and an oil change £50 in the garage for supply and fit of both front wheel bearings £20 to adjust the carb and the binding rear brake and replace the headlight bulbs and something else for the mot £3.52 oil filler cap then theres £250 worth of stereo but that doesnt have to stay with this car so i didnt include it 60 of speeding fine etc

So I purposefully don't count it all up as I spend. Guesstimate? Including buying the car in the 1st place, probably around to £12 to 13k Bugger I knew I shouldn't have counted it up
