Hes willing to swap for an A reg Mercedes 500 SEC 2 door. He says its graphite blue with a beige interior and runs well, its near immaculate apart from a smashed window and ignition barrel from when someone tried to rob it from his mates lockup, he got it as payment for a bit of work he did for his mate and wants to swap it for my truck. He says he has no docs but they arent hard to obtain. Problem is, smashed window,ignition barrel and no docs seems dodgy, and so does swapping a ner immaculate 500 SEC for a truck im willing to part with for £350? Anyway im gonna check it out next weekend, anyone have any advise?

Personally, sounds hotter than an oven full of lava to me mate

I was hoping to make some money on it but hey ho. Ill attempt to find out more info but its like getting blood from a stone at the mo. It wasnt 350 though i think it was about 500.... Hmm i think i will mate, can you think of a good title for it? or section? i didnt know what to put coz its not the sort of thing you'd search for its the sort you'd stumble across. I put 'mazda pickup project v8' last time d'you reckon i should try that again?

Admin Vista Posted January 29, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 29, 2007 You've nothing to lose in going to look at the Merc, make a note of the VIN number of the chassis and off the plate, take the reg number then run an HPI check that'll cost a few quid but will reveal anything suspect. While you're there ask him if he has any proof of title to the vehicle. For instance if he's taken it in payment for a job there must be proof of that as the owner would have wanted something signed to say he was clear of the debt he owed.

The problem is that there is so many catagreys like "pick up" or "pickup" but I would go along the lines of "Truck" as that will go with the afore mentioned. Also try "lowrider"," Mini Truck" "hydraulics", "custom", "customised","One of" "Project", "Show", "V8". The choice is endless mate but I hope a few of them help
