Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 3, 2013 Author Admin Report Posted June 3, 2013 My son was standing nearby as that gazebo literally took off into the air ... I saw it from our club stand and it was shocking:unsure: My son said it landed on an Escort cossie and dented the roof
theloudboy Posted June 3, 2013 Report Posted June 3, 2013 For me it was all the people waving and smiling on the M1/M25 as we drove back top day out cheers mark 1
JP. Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Best thing.... that I made it. Capri broke down 500miles on the way in. Brand new high press leccy fuel pump decided to let go... Spare one didnt fit so I had to bodge it somewhere on a primary school parking lot late in the evening. That bodging repair job got me finaly to Classic Ford Show and best of all it even brought me back home to Holland. Next best thing, meet up with you all again. 4
over_head_cam Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Glad you made it back OK JP. Always good to see you guys and It's great that you make the journey every year!

GJUK Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 Oh dear lord.... It had 'lifted' written on the back. I can think of another short word that could be used. 2
MK2Ed Posted June 5, 2013 Report Posted June 5, 2013 Didn't get to go last year despite attending a previous 5 or 6 but thought this year's was just about the best, even the food was good lol, kicking back chilling in the sun, standard of cars was top notch, racing was awesome, vibe and atmosphere was good, burning up likely's on the way there and back is always good fun and the Thames van on CF stand was inspired - VW eat your heart out... 1

wigglychief Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 The best bit for me was camping next to a Mk1 escort van with a turbo rover V8 on carbs! That was a thing to behold! Also his mate in the black Capri with the nicest sounding V8 iv ever heard!. Sitting there idling at about 500rpm through straight pipes. You know when you can literally hear each piston going up and down I'm not sure whether they are on here but kudos to you if you are! (the Escort van was red with a recovery company sign writing, cant remember the name though)
Top Ghia Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 The Whole show was brill but Kevs 9.04 run has to be the highlight. 1

Gooey Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 I loved the whole weekend, highlight was getting there and back under the cars own power after doing both head gaskets queuing to get out last year Having said that, the car threw a hissy fit as soon as I got home and started leaking coolant
