Waving at each other

have had loads of people in classic cars of all kinds wave at me when i was in mine. its great.

i wave at old cars in general.

 

there was this ont isntance where i waved at a very nice looking classic jag.....

i flashed you from behind once going through sheerwater. we had a mk2 tina convoy going on. not sure if you saw me though was early in the morn

Although there are 2 blokes that live down the road from me, one has a Trumpet Spitfire and the other has an old Austin A40, Mk1 Escort (restoring) and one of the first Mk3 XR3's (Super Clean).

ive only ever had 1 anglia driver wave at me and a guy driving a humber sceptre.

 

every other bugger ignores me they are all mg drivers though...nuff said!

I've had quite a few people wave at me, though I know a few of them now. I ended up following a guy to the pub in a Mk1 Mex once to have a chat TYhere's a guy round the corner who has a Mk1 Tina and a BSA Bantam and a gorgeous BSA A10, my neighbour always waves from his Aerial Arrow on Harley, a guy from the localhot rod club I know, a local collector and his granddaughters now got a Mk2 Tina, all the local garages ask about it, I had a guy with driving gloves in a old 50s P5 Rover all wave at me when I go out, and it gets so much attention wherever I park.

I've not seen him for some time, but there's a local guy I've passed on a few occasions with an early Model T, he did drive it any weather, but he waves and honks the horn before I get a chance! I keep meaning to follow him back and chat, its in remarkable condition and he stores it along with a load of WW2 motors, a Morris command car, a Willys Jeep and a GMC Deuce and Half.

its the same down here on the island with the truimth club ther ryt c**ts they put ther nose up at ppl if they have a modded 1 an dont like any of the other bl stuff cumin ner them an i belive they hate has ford lot down here

I wave and flash my daylights. Even when I'm in the sh**ty Escort. Get funny looks then. There's a doris down here who has a 2.8i. Never bloody waves back.

I love to wave at the old guys and there wives in there bog stock restored 1950's Populars and Prefects.

They wave back....at first....then stop as they realise they are waving at a modified/customised car and go past as if they havent seen you.....makes me crack up every time
