There's a mk1 Cortina 2 door super just gone on for £7K ovno.

It looks lovely and it don't look like a scam.

I can't seem to do links from my phone but it's worth a look if u can...........or am I wrong, is that about the right price?

Yes I saw a mk1 Mexico yesterday for about 6k but that must be a scam I no why do people do this .

The yellow mex was a scam...It sold for around 13 k last week.

This seems a genuine bargain. Telephone number on the add, feedback, other items for sale etc etc

There are loads of scams on there, if it loo, s to good to be true.............It is! Just check their other items and you will see loads of really cheap items, cars and motor homes etc. They manage to bump someone else's profile. I know this as a range rover I bought on flea bay and also my mk2 rs2000 both got listed again at giveaway prices! Just report the item, thee is a link on each page for this, and flea bay will remove the listing! Pete

Yes I've noticed them on eBay quite a few cars on there definitely scammers cos they just too cheap ,,any one of us on here knows what old fords are roughly worth,, your not going to get a mk2 rs for 5g when proper ones area averaging 15g, definitely want reporting and stopping,, just be careful guys read advert carefully and don't leave any details, if it looks too good to be true it probably is !

I guess that they ask you to send them money if your really stupid or why else would they take the time to post fake ads I don't get it

Maybe they ask for a couple of hundred quid deposit?

Must be but would have to be as thick as 2 planks of wood to just send money

True, but you see a lot of car listing which say "£200 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending due to timewasters".

Am I right in think if you send the money through paypal u can get it back I have only just started using palpay so I don't know

It depends how you sent it. If you sent it as a gift to family / friends. No, it's as good as cash. But if you sent it as payment for goods or an eBay auction then yes, you can make an appeal to PP. The problem is, there are just as many unscrupulous buyers using PP as there are sellers. I've heard too many tales of PP refunding dishonest buyers who make fraudulent claims for "Goods not received" or "Goods not as described".

Was looking at the Blue escort. Way to good to be true. Worded like an auction but on as a classified For 3k! Also eBay name Duncan something no feedback but ask you to email Lucy something! And the pics change to a white mk2 half way through!

Actually unrestored average Mk2 RS2000s go for about 5k (or 8000 Aus) here in Australia.
