How about a set of Borbet A's? They're available in 7.5J & 9J 16" rims and 4 x 108 fitment with a number of different offsets.

IMHO they're a great looking polished deep dish rim that maintains the classic looks.

Here are the 7.5J 16" ones on one of my cars

yes they look the wrong offset but SPACERS admitedly its not the best solution and will but more strain on ure wheel bearings but its a means to an end

Itried 7 inch with sapcers and it looked pants .

Im using compomoyive split rims from retro al cost me £500 without tyres.

Xpakken : I didnt have the rear lights mate : Wheels can cost the earth : If it was me again i would look for some 7.5 xpacks with tyres .... £500 + though .... It aint easy.

Adam is susper busy and doesnt get to the phone or pc often . My car still is awaiting the Doc  tors gentle touch

I`D still go for the revos mate.....Whereabouts is the guy in Scotland? Maybe Doc could try one on his, if the guys not too far away.......Just a thought..

find any set of compo split rims and buy new outers the man at copomotve quoted me £180 all in per pair so if you can find a cheap set o rims you can just make em wider

I almost bought a mk3 xpack just before christmas. It had compomotive cx 3s on it. 8x15s. Nothing else will look as good! They are the poodles plumbs!
