mk2 mike Posted July 4, 2015 Report Posted July 4, 2015 Wayne has had a massive fire at his workshop. It looks gutted from the pics I've Seen. If anyone is in the Croydon area and spare at the moment (Saturday 4th July 5pm) please go and lend a hand to clear some stuff, help secure or if you have any boarding up materials. There's been a few requests on Retards Club already, and several people are on their way to help but the more hands the better. Looks like the Anglia was in there too. Thanks all.

khanlad Posted July 4, 2015 Report Posted July 4, 2015 My mate who's unit i work on my cars in burnt down 20 odd years ago, can still remember standing looking at a pile of burnt out cars and building feeling sick, that wasnt even mine, hope nobody got hurt, you can salvage what you can, and get back up and running soon.

Mrs O/H/C Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 Spent 3 days so far clearing the workshop & yard . About 6/7 tons of fire / smoke / water damaged stuff has been loaded onto lorries. But we have made tremendous progress and the rebuilding of the workshop can begin later this week. 1
