colr6 Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Attended Ford Fair at the weekend in my little old Anglia, after placing my car on the stand in all innocence whoosh surrounded by ESCORTS. Maybe it was the observation I made between Escorts and arsoles you know everybodys got one that may have sparked a reaction, don't know why! Regarding me taking the mick out of everyone it takes two to tango well about ten of you. It's a good job I'm not of sensitive nature or I could be deeply hurt, saying this through tears down my cheeks. Don't know whether I was getting paranoid about it but even kermit was pulling his tongue out at me! Wishing to continue coming to the meets I have enlisted the club of PLOD to help me defend the minority car members photo attached I hope! So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

If could get one at right price which needed a lot of work throw 10-15k at it to get a very nice one then would do. I might get invited to a few barbies then instead of been an outcast. I was out numbered and no matter where you looked bloody escorts. My line of defence pull them to bits! LOL All the owners took it in good humour, good job really there was some rather large chaps. Never had issues with some of their attitudes... and definedly have no issues with all the OSF members whatever they drive ( mostly Escorts ). Did lots of events with OSF traveling all the way from Holland. ( and will deffo do in the the future ). Never got asked or got attitudes when I brought over my plastic fantastic Liqui Moly Capri if one of my other Capri's failed. For sure its not everybody's taste. Yup Capri is like Anglia, a rare beast between all those Escorts, meaning other people will notice it between those Escorts. But I might be a Bully Capri Boy, but I let that to decide to all the Escort bully boys I met during all the years I came over to visit them. OSF rules what ever you drive, as long its Old Skool Ford. Old Skool Ford spirit is what rules, not what model you drive. 5

In my short time with the club have met new friends all up for a laugh. Found that out at silverstone. As Vista says having a go at the escort fraternity because of their numbers. Got to careful what I say as Vista owns one and don't want to get a slapped wrist! So I am always ready for more piss taking of which is I know all in good fun! Already looking to the next OSF meet for good fun and even better cars. Colin 1
