Merry Christmas everybody, been told your not going in the garage for two days! Talk about cold turkey. Family to the rescue, all the bikes arrive toy boxes and the like. Dad put this together for me, then another one comes Dad put this together. Thought I'd finished building bikes and stuff for my own kids now it's grandkids. Oh well no rest for the wicked, in the garage for another day making someone else's day instead of my own. Great fun. All the best to everyone on here looking forward to seeing another year of banter and meets of the Old skool ford lot

I have me Zetec engine in shed waiting for me to get stuck in to converting for my mk2 escort.I am hostage in the house trying to act normal, family man type of thing.Putting the bacon on now but probably be tomorrow at earliest before I can get to shed. I know its warped but when you love cars they come first .

Well made it to the garage this morning for half the day...

Did carb Ultrasoon cleanup & overhaul for the V-twin of the missus. It did start right up after that and neighbours did notice that ( I made sure they did...)

Started on some rust bubbles on our V8 Capri and after the paint was removed I concluded I had not the stuff needed ( Dinitrol RC900 or Rustico Epoxy ) to conquer the rust and seal it for ever. Have it in the shop but promised not to go there before sunday.....

So ended up in the living at noon watching National Geografic Aftermath series end of the world....
