Ok, see images below. Can anyone tell me conclusively whether this is a 100e Anglia or a 100e Prefect? And how do you tell them apart?

That car is a 100e Prefect. Four doors and a sidevalve engine. Later Prefects with an OHV engine were 107e's. All the two doors are either Anglias, or Populars, and all had sidevalve engines.

Anglias as stated before had three bar grille and a single pod dash attatched to the steering column like a on its side 'D' shape

Not all Anglias have the three bar grill and kidney shaped dash. Only up to 1957. They also have a smaller rear window. 1958 on, have the two dial dash, mesh type grill, and the larger rear screen. The most obvious difference between an Anglia and a Pop (externally) are the rear lights. The Pop has the three round ones.

Confused .com

about what? I just need to know if anyone knows the name for this colour. It's a car that has been off the road since before the DVLA services were centralised and I am trying to help the Owner get it registered.

I have a friend with one in that colour, but I don't know if I will be able to contact him until Monday, I'll fire him an email and see if he's around an internet web device thingy.

If you lift the bonnet, on the near side scuttle, there should be two tags. One is the Briggs body number, the other which will start TC/???/XX will be the paint code.
