Hi All,

I'm from Holland and I'm a Ford enthusiastic for more then 30 years. We were driving Ford at home from my tenth year.

I owned several old skool Fords, suchs as Taunus, Granada and OSI.

On this moment I'm restoring my very rare Argentine Ford Taunus 2.3 GT Mk3 coupé.

This type of Taunus (Cortina mk5) is only build in Argentina for the internal market. They don't have the Taunus Mk2 (Cortina Mk4), but only the Taunus Mk1 and Mk3. They don't have either the Capri. The Taunus Mk1 coupé was very popular in Argentina. So they build there own Taunus Mk3 coupé on basis of the Taunus Mk1 coupé/Cortina Mk3.

Hi Taunus GT S welcome.

You have nice cars , the coupe is rare i have catalogus from 1984 with one in it when it was new.

There a few build in The Netherlands some with the big rear lights some with the old Original rear light , but i never have seen one with the correct rear ligts like yours.

Thanks. Only the Taunus GT is still alive of above picture. The other 2 Taunus are scrapped, but it's nice to see the differences between the 3 Taunus models.

I think that I have the same catalogus, with the same picture  :-D
