antz Posted February 26, 2007 Author Report Posted February 26, 2007 had a good look round and ive found this: bonnet isnt sat right spare wheel well bubble still there mirror not moved like i asked locking wheel nut is on the floorpan under the carpet spot welds for front panel in the engine bay not covered up at all (still bare metal) i WILL BE GOING BACK TO HIM!!! im not having my car like that! King cars!

Glad it's back dude, but a shame he's been a bit half arsed. Get on the blower and give him greif - he's offering a proffesional service & taking you money for it so you're entitled to a proffesional job. Might have to get the balaclava out otherwise...
antz Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 just found out that my chrome strips on my wings are only double sided taped on! not the proper clips that i gave him and ive found 2 holes in my wing (for the clips) but they are too fooking big! no wonder he stuck them on using tape. hiding his work

antz Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 i will get it done right! its also taught me that 'you get what you pay for'. i couldnt afford a top class job so i went with what i could afford and its stung me in the arse! i wish id never fooking bought the car now! its just trouble after trouble! thing is fooking cursed!!!! it even caused trouble with the guy who was 'fixing' it cos he had no end of probems with panels not fitting and paint colours and brakes. ARGH FOOKNIG CARS!!!!!!!!!! im stuck at work as well! i just wanna go home and see my baby and work out what he has done! (he text my saying he left my lock wheel nut key in the floor pan. i found it...UNDER THE CAPRET! ..bloody hell! )

Had the repair work done at a local garage, 'insurance approved' and it came back crap. The guys had pulled the choke cable through the dash, broke my recaros, colour match all to pot and loads of other stuff. I took the car back and they ballsed it up again. In total it went back 4 times. The job is so crap I now have to save for a full respray elsewhere. No other garage would touch it at the time. I started off by being nice, ended up by shouting at them in front of other customers. I hope you get your car sorted and don't settle for crap like I did. Just think once it's all done you'll wonder why you moaned so much
antz Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 thanks. im stuck at work and its bugging the fook outta me cos i just wanna go home and get busy on teh car cos i wanna get it sorted! its defo got to go back to him. the thign is...do i take it back to him or do i say no and get whats left done properly by someone else (at more money) i just wish id saved up for a few more YEARS. i WILL be getting in touch...when i figure out whats what.

sab6024 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 As I was going through the insurance I had to give the garage the first option to take the car back and do the work again and again. Personally I would give him the chance to sort it, especailly if it's free. But if you get it back and your still not happy then maybe you should shop around. Don't be surprised tho if no-one wants to take on someone elses F**k up.
