Who's camping at classic ford ? Was thinking could have a bit of a get together for a chin wag, beer and an opportunity to put some names to faces. Would be camping in the quiet area not with the roudy club section ( do want to get some sleep) think the quiet area is the first field on the left on entry to SP. If you fancy it stick your name on here. Khandlad has offered to cook the burgers and sausages for you but don't bring to many as he is only cooking on one throw away bar- b-que.! Looking forward to good pod weather.

Ive not camped at CF before normally stayed in hotel, but would appear the nearer you get to the start of the strip the more rammed it gets. I was thinking in the field opposite where the public park on the left seems a bit easier to get a spot and would be easier to get a few close together. Anybody any different thoughts?

Every time ive camped its rammed when i get there, think youve got to get there pretty early to get good spot. Pretty sure the club camping is up near the turn into in field bit, past dodgems?

How it goes is the newbies provide the food the beer and the jokes, get there early to reserve a pitch for us and provide tea on arrival assist all members with putting up with tents and so on. By the way have a nice weekend.

I believe this to be the case. Its mentioned on page 367 in the ultra fine print of terms and conditions when you join this site. My understanding is though the long term members make the jokes and the newbies are obliged to laugh at them whether they are funny or not.

Obviously you didn't read the sub section regarding said page, it's states that new members must bring new jokes to the forum along with hopefully a new car to add to the list. It is also an opportunity for the ' new' member if said member is an ESCORT owner to confirm his stupidity as he has already had his leg lifted paying an exorbitant price tag for said vehicle. If the 'new' member does not conform to said rules he will be quided in the direction of the TS forum where no banter is allowed. This been an informative forum is also human where views can be expressed and discussed, (although personal things will br frowned upon ) Anglia owners will naturally climb the social ladder quickly within the forum as they have already proved they have some common by not parting with their hard earned cash for and escort.

Isn't that rather dependent on how long ago you bought it? Granted I thought my RS was pretty expensive when I bought it in 2004......it's looking pretty cheap now though.
