OSF Contributor Mexican Gerbil Posted August 15, 2017 OSF Contributor Report Posted August 15, 2017 We haven't looked into this event because of the feedback from other similar events. Even more reason to hold our own event at Tour of the Moor next spring/summer
colr6 Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Problably the real reason for closing the club entries is due to the amount of revving pop pop knobheads that attend these shows!! There's only so many fiesta and focus clubs you can show, for some reason it escapes me at the moment.........the word I now remember...repetitive ...repetitive ...repetitive
khanlad Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Come off it col you love the sitting on the limiter at 5 oclock in the morning electric orange focus st owners club! 2
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 6, 2017 Admin Report Posted September 6, 2017 OSFDC racers will be there to represent Old Skool Ford. Come along and say hello. We'll be parked up with the drag demo cars Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
mk1del Posted September 9, 2017 Report Posted September 9, 2017 Focus fiesta fest more like , lets have a walk round have a look at all the orange and blue focus and fiestas, lol
colr6 Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Got an email this morning telling me that ford fest us only a week away, well anyway clicked on the classic ford image only to see when the web page/ host thingy at the top of the page only contains the word FOCUS ......so that tells you the way it's going. Certainly NOT our way !! Overruled by plastic I think. On the plus side that's saved me 6 hrs driving, my ears will last a bit longer, don't have to purchase bi sunglasses that only see blue and orange. Only down side it's another two days the missus has me in the garden!

I spoke to my bank manager the other day and told him I was old school and prefer to deal in traditional metals but he assured me plastic was the way to go. You cant get away from it!
colr6 Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 Have you tried cooking with plastic, it may be the way forward but it makes a horrible mess of the gas cooker !!

I dont think it was an old school thing though more linked to tools of trade and a coven and all that.

Dropped off a hos and cart. Up to you to shovel it up and stick it in a bunker.
RWL81P Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 used to get half a bag free when coal man would stick an 100wt sack on his back and spill it on road. mind though we did live next to the pit at one point. so when we were kids we'd go on pit top with a shaker and get coal for pocket money, that and washing peoples cars. kids today dont know theyre born!
