MK1 FIESTA 1.1 1979

Car was originally silver and approximately 18 months ago several panels were replaced with good rust free second-hand items, a new front wing was fitted and the car was resprayed white including door shuts etc, paint work is still fairly good body shell has had some normal repairs over the years but not very many and a lot less than some and is mainly rust free and in very good order for a car of nearly 40 years old. A lot of new parts were fitted including, brake pads, brake shoes, brake hoses, brake pipes, rear brake cylinders, new rear link arms, ball joint, track rod ends, and many other parts. Only modifications are a new set of 35mm lowered springs, adjustable rear panhard rod and 13 inch wheels

FULL 12 MONTHS MOT - NO ADVISORIES

NO TAX CAR IS ON SORN SO CANNOT BE DRIVEN AWAY

Engine and box are all good having come from a low mileage 1.1 MK 2 Fiesta, Interior is original and clean but seats are a bit worn, car has been unused for a fair length of time in fact Since owning the car I have not done 50 miles so is no point me keeping it, I do not wish to use it as a daily run around so hence the reason for selling. If you can find better for the same price then good for you.

Price: £1,750

 PLEASE NO TIME WASTERS

These cars will only become harder to find and hence will only increase in value

CAR IS IN CORNWALL PL145HZ

A little surprised 190 views and not a single comment ??

not original engine or box

re sprayed a different colour and not done properly, and now has a registered change with dvla

seats torn and the material un replaceable

your in a far out land called cornwall, so inspection not worth it

ive seen mint for 3.5k

yours would take a lot of money to make look good

are you suprised

from this distance, £500.00 would be my tops offer

Unfortunately with it been a lower model there are very few people who would throw thousands at it for a resto unless it had some special attacthment to someone famous. Couldn't use as a re-shell for a more sort after model like a Super sport unless the shell is mint. Unlike a base model 2 door escort which people use to upgrade and end up with a good value in them. If it was in a better overhall condition it's one of those store for a good few years and it may achieve some higher value.

Well thanks I think £500 a bit harsh, how many people keep their old ford std??, my answer is find better for the same price they are not really that plentiful.

exactly, just needs a 16 xf in it, supersport wheels and the interior ripping out. voila! but im sure someone will buy it and fit summat shit like a zetec to it and 15s.

That is more like it, I know it will never be a std concourse car, most MK1's  on this site are modified

even though it drives the wrong wheels, i dont mind mk1 fiestas especially the supersport. i had a mk1 xr2. but better to buy a base model to modify than an xr2 or supersport with the mad prices they are fetching these days.

Whats a Supersport? How much would a Mk1 XR2 fetch?

Wow I had no idea they cost so much. Thats more than most Mk2 RS2000s here.

When I just looked them up one website said there were only 30 on UK roads? That's rarer than Twincams here.
