Videos...( not rude ones)

I've noticed a few people putting vids up in their posts......HOW??? I can't even manage to put writing between pictures since the site re- map, that's something else I can't do ? Can someone do a Janet and John instruction on HOW please ?

You do a copy and paste of the address if its a Youtube video or on a similar site. You copy the page from your browser and then paste it in your reply box here. The same way Ii  have seen you add links to Ebay auctions. After a few seconds the site detects it as a video and embeds it as a video box with all its details. If its a video that that you have stored you simply add it like you would a photo. There may be size limits though when you do it that way. I have noticed that my older browser could no longer add photos or even reply sometimes since the site upgrade and had to use a more up to date version so if the above doesn't work you also may need to update your browser also.

No. YouTube is a hyperlink. You'd need to post your vid to YouTube first. 

I would guess that the file on a gopro is too big to directly upload.

Yes but there may be a file size limit. I need to check with Vista if that's the case and what the limits may be. Short Videos should be ok.

Ahhh no you wont be able to download gigabytes of vids to the forum sorry. It would take days even if you could. It would fill the site storage right up with a few videos. Non contributors even have total download limits. You going to have to use a site service like YouTube and copy and past the link here.

What James said. We don't have the storage capacity to allow everyone to upload videos to here.

Things gotton worserer, goes onto my main PC and the photo app can't be opened and it comes up on the screen consult your supplier or some fancy name ??? So it's off to my IT man to sort, see what's gotton into my computer ??

Yes, I think the build is almost there now with a few more episodes. 

What a build though when you have a few spare coins in your pocket. I'm liking the engine...
