Nobody any views on this? Was looking to buy this as my first proper oldskool ford, already own a s2 turbo but fancy a mk1 or mk2 escort.

Certainly looks a nice well prepped car, not one I’ve seen around. Think the price is a bit on the strong side, based on a base car with nothing really fancy about it. Lacking in interior improvements. My personal view on price 16k tops that’s purely based on it looks well done. Think big fish sold his not to far back equally as good for 12k

Thanks guys, this is the kinda response I was looking for!  So is it like most cars nowadays were original cars command the most cash? My ideal escort would be a mk2 with a yb but they seem to command daft money.

What sorta price range should I be looking at and also places to look for a nice 2dr mk1 or 2?

Cheers

They do sell for a lot, but a nice one that is well built is eye wateringly expensive to achieve. In particular if you haven't done absolutely everything in the build yourself.
