rsanton68 Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 Just about finished a 3 year resto on my RS2000. Looking for the best shows to go to this summer, my car is for driving though not showing. Any security or safety tips also appreciated. 4
DT36 Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 Very nice. What did you do interior wise and engine spec?
Admin Vista Posted April 26, 2019 Admin Report Posted April 26, 2019 Looks very nice, welcome to the forum. We have a stand at classic Ford Show in early June that you'd be welcome to join us for, also our own event and tour of Dartmoor in Devon in late June that we have just a few places left for, bit of a run for you for that though from Lanarkshire.
rsanton68 Posted April 26, 2019 Author Report Posted April 26, 2019 Interior not finished yet. Standard door panels and still to source front seats. Engine 2l pinto. Will post photos of engine bay later 1
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted April 26, 2019 Moderator Report Posted April 26, 2019 Love an orange Mk2 RS2000
katana Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 I realise its a 'south London' look/style with the low profile tyres, but (to me) the wheels just look lost under those arches - what are they 50 or 45 profile?

Will post photos of engine bay later Front seats are getting a bit cheeky on price at the moment, but they are about. I wanted some, but my Missus keeps buying new shoes. I've got some old Capri seats in the trimmers at the moment being rebuilt with different bolsters so they look more like Escort seats. Fingers crossed they look OK 🤞 1

stephens_xpack Posted May 13, 2019 Report Posted May 13, 2019 Very nice, RS looks great in orange. You have her garaged, that is the only way to keep an old car these days IMHO. Just keep her secret, work on her behind closed doors, make sure said doors are well secured, and enjoy...
