Admin Vista Posted March 8, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 8, 2007 I assume he's paid via paypal so just refund his money via paypal then send him an invoice for the correct amount.
Rick Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 ye iv done that now, bet he wont pay now... agrhhh
antz Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 its annoying when they do that. i specify that they must get in touch first before bidding and one guy didnt so i made up a postage figure. he paid andw as happy with the item. another auction i said i wud only post to ireland and a guy in italy just decided to bid!..luckily he was outbid
Rick Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 Hello, I understand your problem. But I can not help it. I told you before that I payed you already as it says in the instructions. I think that it is not my problem. I won the object as described. (If I had won it for lets say 5 pound you should send it also.) So please send me the object, and I advise you to check the cost for postage before you advertise the next time. hes trying to get me to post it abroad for UK postage rate... what a tinker lol. martinronaldjan add hjim to your ebay blocked bidders list in case he tries it on with your items
Admin Vista Posted March 8, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 8, 2007 Did it say you would post abroad? or make it clear anywhere that postage rate quoted was for UK only? I'd just open an eBay dispute and let him pick the bones out of that, then you can either relist it or offer it to the 2nd highest bidder.
Rick Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 there was only uk postage listed no overseas. iv offered it to sum1 else. bargain at £15!!
Rick Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 yes! another ebay problem i guy in belgium buys my diff without enquiring about postage. iv invoiced him.... 'o its a bit expensive i dont know if i can pay that' FOR FOOK SAKE!!!
Admin Vista Posted March 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 11, 2007 And people over seas complain about us saying UK only
negri Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 ebay gets on my tits !!!! you should only be able to bid if you have that amount in your bank account pay pal should then take more responsibility in proccessing the money and trying to help geniune ebayers . with the fees that ebay and paypal charge its a joke .
CéDriC Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 always asking for delivery chage before bidding, if only for Uk i ask to seller if accept to sold it to abroad, and what's the delivery charge... Last defeat, i've ask for delivery charge have the answer, so i bid, any other bid on it, seller erase my bid before the end, i'm suppose to bid on it with asking for delivery.... For seller or buyer, it's way hard...
60ftman Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 I've got instructions on all of my ebay listings that says: 'International bidders please email for shipping costs BEFORE bidding' But virtually no-one does. I had a 'buyer' bid on an item that weighs in at over 30kg, and won it for £15. "I'm in Aus" they said (after winning the item). "Ah" I said, "that will be £78 for shipping" (Checked with the PO and that was the absolute cheapest I could do it) "It won't cost that" say the bidder, "You're trying to rip me off" So I checked with the PO again, and even split the item and weighed the two halves. £78 complete, or two lots of £42. "I've checked" says the bidder "and it will only cost £25" "Bu**er me you sheep sha**ing b*st*rd" says I, "I couldn't send it INSIDE the UK for that. let alone Aus!" I also asked him if he had any family in the UK I could deliver it to, and they could send it to him for £25 (or hand carry it on a visit) and he said no. I bent over backwards for the cheatingatcricketandrugbydescendedfromaburglar b*st*rd but to no avail. Still convinced I was ripping him off, he left me negative feedback. They deserve the funnel-web I reckon
Rick Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 lmao, iv suggested he arrange his own courier then or pay up. he better
capriclive Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 ive blocked overseas bidders on my stuff. had too much hassle in the past.
alladdin Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 the items that i listed recently appear to have gone on as worldwide. i knon i didnt offer that !! is that what happened or did you list as abroad? its ok small items via post but anything big is silly money.
Cookie Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 I just block all bids from overseas now, its more hassle than its worth. Just sold all my ebay stock items as a job lot, bloke collected this morning, so fooked off with the knob ends on there i cant handle the stress anymore, people think that they can talk to you like shit and blatantly lye through there teeth because its by email Fooks me off and you can't thump em from a keyboard, that's the most frustrating, even after you do everything humanly possible to do the 'right' thing to keep em happy! it's no good, gotta stay away from ebay for a bit
Rick Posted March 16, 2007 Author Report Posted March 16, 2007 i cant believe my misfortune winning bidder on my capri struts is a zero feedbacker from portugal... i wonder if hel pay the giant shipping costs
over_head_cam Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Just send him some dogsh1t in an envelope
Rick Posted March 16, 2007 Author Report Posted March 16, 2007 thats the best idea iv ever heard ... as above. i may just sell the lot in one go abd be done with the rechid site. they really should try harder to stop arseholes bidding
