Hi everyone, new bloke here

recently purchased 1964 consul capri convertible. Didn't have any history but think it was converted about 40 years ago( FCCOC )

Body and interior really good.

Drivetrain not so, currently rebuilding engine ( 1500GT) and hoping to fit T9 gearbox.

Can't find a workshop manual for Kent pre xflow engine, any ideas

Cheers John

Welcome to OSF

Car looks great by the way!

You may be able to get a Haynes Manual for something else that would cover the 1500GT?

Perhaps these might cover the pre- Xlfow?

Thanks for all your replies, got a mk1 cortina manual from ebay.

The other capri convertible is badged as Sunlbird which was the project name for the capri.

This one however is listed at dvla as a classic . Looking at the top of the windscreen it is different to mine, I think this may have been a Classic conversion.

Love the PA Cresta next to it, had a pink one in 1961, another one I wish I'd kept.
