Not looking favourable so far is it? Perhaps the hey day of Classic Ford Show is behind us? People associate it with a live show with track or strip action, a static show not appealing so much.

Is it worth doing a mass email to all members rather than a post here? might drag some of the old guys out the woodwork

some people know where the show is but some people don’t , and I am one of them people that don’t no where it is ,

wouldn’t it be good to put a link up with location and what’s going on ,

Also cars are to shiny for my liking at static shows, and these shows attract a certain type of owner that I cannot understand,   💰instead of 🛠️

Here is a screen shot of the location on a map. As you can see it's alot further south and east to the usally middle of the country location. 

Would more people be interested in a stand at Ford Fair? Silverstone. I can see the lack of interest on social media might mean classic Ford Show is cancelled anyway. 

With the cut off date being 2002 at classic Ford show it will be full of blue RS focus anyway.

Unfortunately, we can't use that system anymore. It results in our mail server being blacklisted as a source of spam and the host server limits the number of emails it can send out per hour anyway.

hi, i have to drive from holland 400 miles to my sister, and then 174 miles to the show, and i see people saying that they won't go, so now i am not to sure if i will go, i did every show, if there is a stand on the ford fair and lots of people would go there, i would go there instead, cheers marcel

They've always been that for me from down here, but the date they've chosen for this year clashes with a local event we attend as a club in the West Country

I should add that the organisers have generously offered 50 free places for car and driver (passengers enter at standard club rate of £18 per ticket) as an exclusive offer to Old Skool Ford in recognition of our long standing attendance at the show and winning best club stand at the last Classic Ford Show that took place (2019).

They sent me a mail, as they've owed me money for about 2 years. Said I can have a ticket for this show or Ford Fair in lieu.

Ford Fair track action had almost zero view points last year and this one doesn't have any track events. Therefore, I've basically said I'll have my money back, but still waiting. 

I think they've shot themselves in the foot with this one and maybe it won't go ahead due to the lack of live action and location.  I'd like to see myself proved wrong though.

Maybe....but in fairness,we've had a number of free tickets issued to us for years for winning best club stand each year. In the past we split the cost of the free ones across everyone who buys one so it enables us to offertory to everyone cheaper than regular club prices

i will go to the old ford rally in gaydon on the 17 july, and will see 4 days of car speedway in kings lynn and mildenhall.

and annoy my sister for 3 weeks, cheers marcel

It's a driving tour based out of the River Dart Country park on weekend of May 15th.
