I'm looking for a visual in car security locking device for the handbrake or steering wheel, has anyone on here got any recommendations to suit a Mk2 Escort?

Thanks in advance.

I've also got a Disklok for my Mk2 but i've welded a hasp and staple on the front for an extra large padlock as a visual thing really. i'm going to weld spreader bars on the back at some point, these will only stop opportunists really so the best defence is not park it anywhere isolated especilly if in your garage/lockup if the tools are led around to remove such items.

Just picking this up. Does anyone have a wheel clamp? Been looking at London Triangle's.

Alternatively, security posts?
I’m conscious lots of people can read these posts from anywhere so I’m a tad reluctant to go into details.
Maybe a security section that’s locked out to eyes?

Hidden switch, on ignition only, so it cranks, but won't start.

So it makes a lot of noise but never starts.😀

Rarely do classics get 'driven' away - winched onto a flatbed and away - quick and quiet!

A Denver Boot wheel clamp is a) a deterrent and b) makes moving the car bloody difficult till its off!

Not sexy method would be a bar through the steering wheel with a chain down to handbrake / seat belt mount secured with padlock - engage whilst on full lock, would certainly cause issues for a tealeaf!

the best thing to do is a loaded shotgun behind the drivers seat with a wire from the trigger round a  series of pulleys and connect to the pedals.

The London Triangle ones look impressive.
