atomic punk Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I'd have a full compliment of Z cars for cruisin Mk1 Zephyr Zodiac Mk2 Zephyr Mk3 Zodiac Mk4 Zodiac Exec A consul Capri A specced up BDA engined mk2 Scort A Mk1 Granada with a proper engine (Read V8) And I'd have my current cars professuinally restored And buy a mahoosive air conditioned workshop to put them in
RFChris Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 and why would you choose those cars ? sentimentel values/soft spots you've got? or for pure fun ? I was conceived in a 63 Consul Capri...... :babycmpod83:
orionmojo Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 my 1600e, but in mint condition, and with a crazy engine and fully uprated suspension, so it looked stock from the outside but could see anything off at the lights
jimbo Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I'd be greedy-ish and trading in my GT40 token, I'd have 1) A 63 Consul Capri 2) Mk I Transit (Converted to Camper) 3) My current car, but specced to the hilt. just to surprise the MaxPower mob who see it and think that my 1600 auto is up for a race. But before all that, a garage big enough to store them and work in!!
xpackken Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 RED 64 mustang gt . No other car for me ... pushing silly amount of horse power that your scared shitless every time you turn the key . _________________ LSD Rehab Forum
Mick100e Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I'd have my 100e but I'd swap the V6 for a small block V8 or I'd have a pro street MK4 Zodiac
QuadCamCapri Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 In OSF dreamland I would have bid on the ex-works Cologne Capri that came up for auction a couple of years ago in TWR's collection, went for £65k. I would have then raced it in the FIA Historic's. Also done the 246 thing, after setting the carb's up on this one I spent a few hours spanking it round a private airfield, although it wasn't as quick in a straight line or as composed on the corners as my Capri
