in other words, wasting our time, as we are not allowed to know who the buyer is, and we have no way of proving anything either

must be the time of year the main offenders seem to be companies that should know better, beginning to think the laws been relaxed https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-MK1-1300GT-Panel-V5-Plates-Special-Campaign-Colour/122914314918?epid=2220648056&hash=item1c9e439aa6:g:gJwAAOSwjytaW9Ld

  10. are you sure that wig your wearing isn't vinyl Colin oh and what spelling school did you go to
  11. agree with Colin, and as you rightly say, one is main bulk plastic bumper brigade, whilst OSF is heavy metal you cant please all of the people all of the time, just some of the people some of the time
  12. my main roller shutter has 2 ground locks and 2 pin locks, then you cant operate the electric shutter without all 4 locks being in keeps, then the main workshop door is protected with an internal shutter door that locks, the exit door has a steel grill door that locks, and has the alarm panel attached, the main door has 2 locks, and outside that is another shutter door with pin locks, all windows also have pin locked shutters over them, fire exit totally blocked off both sides of the door and office again has an internal shutter door that's pin locked, the alarm has more passive detectors than you can shake a stick at, and 4 external sirens and 4 internal, the noise is piercing
  13. bloke next door to me found those totally useless, when he forgot they were there and they just ripped out as he hit them with the car, one even bent first

    Tight Fit

30 years down the line I suspect not lol
  15. mk1 stalks, end to end are 10.5 inches long
  16. that mk1 one is far too long, compared to mine, probably off a Capri or a tranny, as they are longer, may have been installed to effectively lengthen the belt for a large person, all the mk2 ones ive had in my hands, the stalks are identical to the mk1 in every way inc shape and size, even doing an e-bay search, that's all I came up with, not seen that double affair before, I'm not saying its wrong, just ive not seen it, and cant find it on a search either how many fixing holes does your car floor have, you can see that from under the car, so you don't have to remove the carpet to see as far as I was aware, late mk1 and mk2 were the same floor so should be 2, one is fwd of the other, and is fairly centred, while the other is off set
  17. photos might help
  18. got 2 copies, gonna frame one of them on that page
  19. they look way too long for an escort sean
  20. all trimmers are tiled with that brush, don't think its you
  21. look for good used ones on flea bay, mk2 stems are the same, you can buy repro labels for the switch as well, but have deep pockets, I sold a nos pair of stems on flea bay 6 months ago, I got near £300 for just the stems, I had to sit down tbh, even couldn't believe it, foreign buyers are prepared to pay and leave the English out in the cold, but if you look for more than 1 pair, that has a good one in each, you should find what you want
  22. if you want genuine for originality, nos are rare and expensive when they do come up, good old ones are hard to get as well, that's regardless of inertia or static, I took a set of NOS inertia ones to £1400 one bay and still didn't win them, I was lucky, another set came up that I got for about £600, it all depends on how many people looking for them at the time, and I got a static set for £400, which again I had seen them go for more but mk 2 inertia belts fit, they are a different shape on the roller housing, but do the job both mk1 and mk2 inertia suffer with the grease drying out with age and the locks then don't work, trick I saw on the net, unroll and clip open, put the mechanism end in boiling water, then leave to dry, aparantly it frees them up but as scott says, maybe better to buy securon new if your not bothered about originals
  23. everything I buy from there, I end up with import duties, vat and if the post office bring it in, their charges on too e-bay gsp aint worth it either, small print says, while you pay their guestimate up front, the revenue can still come along and slap more on, and they do
  24. ahh, so now we get to the bottom of it, they are AIRFIX MODELS
  25. so 10 motorbikes and half a dozen cars isn't greedy then Colin
