  4. e bay is defo best place to watch what they sell for
  5. nope its a 1300
  6. im definately interested, pm me when you know anything firm
  7. HPI wont tell you who the legal keeper is, police wont either, they have to have a valid reason to use the ANPR system, and can loose their jobs over mis use of it, and DVLA make all excuses not to tell you, that car would have to be dumped on your land and photographic evidence of it given that its on your land, for them to give you the owners details normally, you can apply for a V5, they then write to the current owner, if no reply then you get the V5, but when its been off the road that long, my understanding is, you have to jump through a lot more hoops than just applying for it, if the owner replies and says no, its mine, and youve taken it, then the police will get involved, for the reasons you then dont want
  8. be a shame to banger it, i would love the old thing, but at mo we dont know if its stolen, till wanted by the owner or anything like that, until you find things like that out its a no no for me if you work for the council, they can get the ownership info from DVLA, you just gotta go to the right department, their car parking dept would be a good start, as thats how they send you parking fines, police i doubt are going to give you that info, unless you have asked through official counci channels
  9. tax last run out April 95
  10. courts and lawyers are expensive, take it into your own hands, go there and confront him with a few heavies and a truck, if he cant give you your goods (ie hes sold them), take something to that value, plus travelling and heavies expenses, and try to make it something you know hes gonna own rather than customers property, ie tools / tooling thats gonna stop him working, and say he can have them back when you get your stuff back couse that may have already happened and why you cant get your stuff
  11. you know, the guy that used to be in eastenders

yes you are quite restricted with it on, but it does what it was designed to, it takes my car lol, but i remove it for run of the mill everyday transporter work, although it does pick up a fair amount of expensive classic and hot rod work as well with it on, which is the market it was aimed at, normal transporters are 2 a penny, and getting work for them isnt easy, theres a lot of competition legally the std 3.5 ton beavertails cant actually carry much anyway, most you see with anything much more than a small family car are operating overweight, especially the steel backed ones, the back on this is all aluminium to reduce the weght, and the floor construction is a newish design for strength, it also has air assisted suspension so it raises it and dosnt show the weight generally you can tow more than you can carry with them as long as you leave the beavertail empty (train weight), but if you tow with any commercial vehicle for work purposes, you must have a tacho fitted and have the correct training to use it, another little european gem thats generally ignored lol, all ok till you get into a ministry pull over a friend of mine has a steel backed one, and all it can legally carry is a ton, about a mk1 escort lol, and the bed isnt as strong as my aluminium one there are a lot of additional operating costs and legislation to comply with by going bigger, and why its only the big outfits that generally go that way
  13. not that i know you lol, but i dont see why not, welcome back, PHOTOS

i saw a most remarkable looking mk1 escort twin cam getting rather wet on the back of a beavertail transporter on the M1 in yorkshire today, (it looked real and not a copy) was a real shame to see it getting saturated up there, and being an advert to thieves that sort of car needs a covered transporter to keep it out of sight as well as dry
  19. imho, in that condition you would be mad to mess with it, ok cibies are an option, but then imo you would want quarter bumpers, and spoil its fantastic look, im not a fan of modified cars, but that looks stunning as it is, and think you would be silly to do anything rash at this stage, wait till the car needs work done, or pick one not quite so luverly looking
  20. take it thats the photo disc of you and your mates then col
