perhaps it may have been about the actual paint you were spraying. needless to say that unless it was a lead based paint, there is nothing they can do about water based paint. i was told i was running a taxi business from my house because i parked 2 taxis outside my house, even though they knew i had an office as i was paying the rates for it. they are all a jobsworth and they have to be seen to do something else they couldnt stay in their easy-life jobs any longer. tell em to fook orf

i use a mk3 2 litre gt corty as my daily drive. reliable and honest and its fun just cruising and watching everyone drive past craning their necks to have a look. my wife refuses to get in and we have to use our pug 406 if we go out but corty fine. you'll be ok. just no racing and she'll last....

cant say they make a car look nice and they have the added bonus of rotting the roof as they sweat. pants

if you are charging for it being a wedding car, i'd check out your licensing rules for private hire. most limos which charge for journeys, including weddings, have to be inspected by the ministry for roadworthyness and have insurance for hire and reward. just something to remember. i do like an osf done up as wedding cars though. had my granada done for mine....

i agree that it sounds like a scammer tryin to get some money back and a lot of what everyone has said here has been right but any receipt must say "sold as is" not "sold as seen". a solicitor can make you pay for a as seen receipt as that dont include stuff not seen-halfshafts and alike. as is purely means the car entirely so no comeback. if no receipt then its tough. good luck mate

i found that them wiper thingies never done any good. they dont push the wipers onto the screen as you go faster. but i found if you get proper FORD wiper blades, they come with a strip on them which does work. but it really depends if you want them just for the look?????!?!?!

i do sympathise with you. someone called eric scratched their name accross the bonnet and wing of my granada. i just dont kow anyone called eric. cost a fortune to get it sprayed over the metallic black that it was..... some people have no morals and see that its old and someone elses that they couldnt care less. connect it up to 240v and let their eyeballs light up next time.......
