  1. Try and talk to me about anything built in the last 25yrs, I'll glaze over as if you were telling me about a fridge.😂
  2. When my son was in the Navy he had a friend with a VX220, apparently it wasn't a match for his Subaru. (or it could have been be the eejit driving the Impreza).
  3. Best Police cars I drove were the first Cavalier Sri's for rural Traffic Patrol, and Senators for the big tarmac. They didn't break. (Except for ripping off the rear bumper body kit every time we reversed the Sri 130's off the road onto a verge, solved with cable ties!)
  4. Triangular pistons? 😂😂 The Grifo was a car I lusted for after I once saw one at the roadside in about 1976ish with a cardboard sign in the window for £950, a shame, as I was coppering up to get enough to buy some fish and chips at the time!
  5. I'll try to fill in the gaps. 1, Lancia Beta Monte Carlo series 2 2, Mazda 110s Cosmo sport 10, Iso Grifo.
  6. I don't like the guy on TV, don't know what he's like in real life, but I've never forgiven him for ruining the nightly coverage from the IoM TT a few years back. He seemed to just talk wide-boy the round ones, Steve Parrish and the other racers kept looking at him like he was a moron. He was paired with Jane Omorogbe, she knew what she was talking about and a damn sight nicer on the eye a pudgy Cockney.

    Black plates

When I was a kid I had a black and silver numberplate on my bike too, I also had a piece of card clipped to the back of the frame to catch the spokes, it sounded really good if I pedalled fast, the Police never caught me with my illegal plate, if wasn't even for my bike!😎🤣
  8. SWMBO is stomping around the house or alternatively sulking, it's like living with a scrap mans Haemorrhoidal pitbull! Thank you Boris you complete onanistic numpty!
  9. We can swap, now what's left of GB industry? Mmm, I'll get back to you on that one🤔
  10. Actually all the Aussies I have met have been awesome craic, but I don't like to admit it to them, I mean it wouldn't do to let the Colonials to get ideas above their station would it.*😂😂 (*My humour sometimes doesn't work in type)😂
  11. Sorry James, but: 1, You're a moderator, take down the post! 2, We actually like you, you're OK for an Aussie!😂
  12. Happy Birthday James, have a good one y'all. 🎂
  13. Oooh! Got to love a Willys Gasser!
  14. Unfortunately the shine has worn off the steering wheel, and the plastic sun visor clip on the drivers side is worn, but that's about it internally.
  15. Santa came early yesterday (lucky lad!) Triumph 2000 mk2 automatic, totally original, 81k never seen a paint gun or welder, the interior is like new, I suspect seat covers and mats, last owner 45yrs. A 2500tc auto was on the wish list but hard to find, then this popped up I had to have it.
  16. Just a hosepipe, it looks like it's made of icing sugar.
  17. A teenage boy was delivering papers to an apartment house. While there, a stunning young doris came out of the apartment next to the mailboxes wearing only a robe. The boy smiled at the young doris and she started up a conversation with him. As they talked, her robe slipped open, and it was obvious that she had nothing else on. The poor kid broke into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact. After a few minutes of flirting, she placed her hand on his arm and said, "Let's go to my apartment, I hear someone coming." He followed her into her apartment; she closed the door and leaned against it, allowing her robe to fall off completely. Now nude, she purred at him, "What would you say is my best feature?" Flustered and embarrassed, he finally squeaked, "It has to be your ears." Astounded, and a little hurt she asked, "My ears? Look at these breasts; they are a full 38 inches and 100 percent natural. I work out every day and my ass is firm and solid. I have a 28 inch waist. Look at my skin, not a blemish anywhere. How can you think that the best part of my body is my ears?" Clearing his throat, he stammered, "Outside, when you said you heard someone coming...that was me."
  18. I had a Landrover 2A with a Perkins 4/203 in it, it had a shake on tick over, when I got out it looked like I had Parkinsons. In hind sight it was a bloody awful thing but it would pull a house down. On 3.9 diffs out of a Rover P5 three litre and a straight through exhaust made of scaffolding tube it would roll coal at 60.
  19. Hit it with the lowering stick and I'd have it, but usually convertibles like that have a roof that looks like a badly fit tarp. I've sold my Mk1 Golf Cabriolet because SWMBO doesn't like her hair messed up. It didn't affect me as I'm a pork pie wearing slaphead, but the wingeing wore me down.
  20. Or a Tesco...
  21. You never know when you need to protect your assets from burglars!😱
  22. Lighter? I thought it was a fancy butt plug.......
  23. Bloody hell, the size of that Newt on the crossing!
  24. If it walked across my wife's freshly mopped kitchen floor it would be plucked, drawn, jointed, and in the oven before it took more than 5 steps, I don't care how tough your Aussie sparrows are.😂😂 It's a strange place you live James!
  25. Isn't that a kebab for Slimming World readers?
