escortmad79 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 I should be in the crowd in one of them, welly wangling challenge filmed at the Great Dorset Steam Fair They always seem to have Old Fords in their yard, always used to be Mk1/2 Escorts or Capris. This one there's a Ford Pop & I think I spotted a 100E too
escort21 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Pretty pants now..used to be ok before they added the stupid puns all the way through
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 But Lisa Rogers is pretty horny... Gorgeous blue eyes.

FlashCadillac Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 But Lisa Rogers is pretty horny... Gorgeous blue eyes. mmmm.... Lisa Rogers
Slik 50 Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Lisa Rodgers But I think it has gone really sh*t over the past few years. Its the whole " what we need is some nos, Wait I have just spotted a full nitrous kit atatched to the rover metro in the corner. How's that for a bit of luck" Or, "Look I have just found a mint jet engine out of an apache helicopter, which seems to be in perfect working order"
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 They do strategically place items that are needed for the challenge around the yard. They always have. If their challenge was to build a boat for a sea battle, it would be a bit daft to remove all the fibreglass van tops, boats and oil drums so they couldn't build anything that floats.
Slik 50 Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Granted mate, Van roofs ect. you would expect to find. But who in there right minds would scrap a car with a full nitrous kit still fitted.
john_3.0s Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 or running rover v8s, jet ski thrust units, catepillar tracks etc etc... still quite entertaining tho and lisa rogers
emu Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 No one ever left nitrous set-up in the cars at my local scrapyard Did once find an old CB radio though. One of my college mates put it in his Landrover so he could talk to the truck drivers . I think that although there are perhaps a bit too many 'planted' items, the program still relies on the teams having a clue how to use it all. Just because you give them the parts doesnt mean the contraption will work.
