wont name tyres but il tell you this, took wifes golf in that had budget tyres on, dry day 2mm of tread, gripped fantastic...

drove it back with brand new expensive rubber, 6-7mm of tread and crap.

shame you cant run slicks in this country like you can in some parts of the states, a lot to be said for dry weather grip and tyres with 2mm instead of 6mm of tread, in the dry tread is your enemy!

Until a summer shower arrives, causing you to aquaplane into the next plain.

A032Rs in soft compound okay for trackdays and medium road mileage, okay in damp conditions and exciting if chucking it down, but what tyre isn't in an osf.

:thumbsup: Definately these if you want ultimate grip, most of the field in sprints/hillclimbs in the road going classes use them if regs allow.

We moved from colway intermediates to these and lopped over a second off our run times - possibly more through improved feel and the confidence they give. But the flip side is they won't last long.

888r's on mine at the moment, shit hot even with a bit of extra grunt  .proberbly shit in the wet tho :D

Not as bad as you would think, been caught out in the rain a couple of times and been very surprised how good they are, even in torrential downpours of last bank holliday and a BIG breaking moment in the fast lane of the M25 stopped with no fuss at all

Toyo 888r's. The ony thing is that you have to be easy on them for the first 400 ish miles, if you rag the arse off them straight away they just fall to pieces...
