GJUK Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Hi guys, what would you expect to pay someone who knew what they were doing, to take out and xflow and auto box, and put in an xflow and manual box in a mk2 escort please? Also cost of parts if you have them too please I'm only looking for guidelines! Thanks Jon

Admin Vista Posted June 20, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 20, 2007 There's a member on here desperate for an auto escort as he's disabled and can't drive anything but autos. If you do remove the auto box and associated gear don't ditch it as it'll come in handy for him to convert a manual with if he can't get hold of an auto.

Jay_harrier Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 I let a 60k running x-flow, manual box, prop, rad, carb, starter etc (all you'd need for a running lump) for £50 so you should be able to find similar.
