They can go quicker still as Mick broke his pedal box and lost the brakes so this slowed him down a bit !!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday it pissed down all the way there and when it dries enough to have a go on the track the oil return hose of the remote oil filter came of!!! Dumping the oil on the floor right @ the entrance to the Ring Taxi....... Go it on the track and fooked of liverly lol Sorted the hose and faulty jubilee clip!! filled up with engine oil and rain stopped play....Toyo proxes R888`s are no good in the rain..... So Sunday Mick gets it on the track,Now this is the frit time the car has been on any track anywhere..... And he is hauled of the track to Noisey,They checked his car and its .106 Db....100 is the max. His Back box can be packed but we have no packing stuff...~Heinz manager where we are staying, we show him and he knows of somewhere.. 15 mins later he returns we pack the exhaust...97 Db On his First lap he Equals the time 8.47........ We go back and adjust the suspension settings but the brake pads are going off half track!!! But this time he goes out and to here it and see it go was Awesome... And he returns and the clock stopped @ 8.36.34 The New lap Record For a Mk1 Escort around the ring beeting the Previous 8.47 Held by Zakspeed! we Have a Bloke From Sweden on Tape in his 911 GT3 pull up as mick is gettting a drink ask if its my car, I say no It his Pointing @ mick,He reply`s And i have this on tape.. "Your car?.......That is on very fast car ..what driver...what a car!!! He parked and come over and could not belive how fast mick went pass ed him,This man was in Awe and in a state of shock... This man has 6 x 911`s and can lap the ring in Rs911 in 8.05 but said he could not belive how fast this mk1 was!!! So finally all i can say is Kev you star..And mick could not have done it without you. You kept his head when things looked like they were going tits up!! ... Mick Awesone driving and knew you would do it..And switch of mate you have done it now with loads in Reserve And when you see the pictures you will love our mascot...
