mk2 matt Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 i went around a round about, and got loads of understeer because it was pissing it down and drove straight up on to the pavement and over a flower bed, and it was one of those flower beds that have the spikey rocks around the flowers and they stick up in the air about 8 inches, and just missed the wall. and the damage that has been done (only a quick look), is my front spoiler has been ripped off at the front, and all the chassis is dented from the the massive rocks which i drove over. so hopefully when i go out in the morning i don't find any more damage. not happy matt

dealy Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I crashed a mk3 capri laser once, the front end locked up on a tight turn and I went through a fence then through a hedge and into a garden. After that I had a lot of respect for the old girl, I got to cocky and she taught me a lesson, good thing is I reversed out and had a look and it was scrached up a bit but ok. Life is a lesson mate , just learn from it.

mk2 matt Posted October 22, 2006 Author Report Posted October 22, 2006 thanks for the comments people , and i had a look this mornig, and i've put a dent in my crossmember, put a big dent in my sill on the side and some paint has come of it, put 3 big dents in my chassis, mex spoiler is ripped of along the bottom. so i was lucky and my camera has no batterys
