Think about it, not EVERY car is. On a circuit, it's probably geared to do 155mph whilst your mk1 will probably top out at 115 - 120? at the most? Comparing a circuit car to a 1/4 mile car is just plain wrong. That car will never see the road, and that is a good thing cos its an awesome race car not simply a fast road escort. whats wrong with that??

It may not out accelerate you from standstill... but it would breeze past you once its moving... and then come to a corner.. it would sail round at twice you speed .. and then we have the stopping distance ..
